Keanu Reeves and Catherine Zeta-Jones are circling a movie about Johnny Stompanato, the hoodlum killed by the teen daughter of his girlfriend, actress Lana Turner.
Adrian Lyne ("Unfaithful") is attached to direct "Stompanato," which has landed on the steps of Warner Bros. Pictures but has not yet made the studio its home.
Stompanato, a World War II vet-turned-small-time hood and wannabe actor, was killed on Good Friday 1958 in the Beverly Hills home of Turner by 14-year-old Cheryl Crane. The death was ruled as justifiable homicide, but rumors flew that Crane and Stompanato had been lovers, while other rumors flew that Turner actually killed Stompanato and let her daughter take the rap.
Reeves, last in theaters with "Constantine," just completed work on Warners' "Il Mare," a time-travel romance that reunited him with "Speed" partner Sandra Bullock. Zeta-Jones returns to theaters in the fall with "The Legend of Zorro."

We like her because...
Ever since audiences saw the trailer for The Mask of Zorro, Catherine Zeta-Jones has entered the minds of all North American males. She's a classic beauty who has proven that she can do it all: comedy, action, drama, musicals, marriage, and motherhood.
She's famous because...
After starring in every red-blooded male's fantasy thanks to roles in The Mask of Zorro and Entrapment, Catherine became an A-list actress with roles in Traffic and Chicago, and Hollywood royalty, as Mrs. Michael Douglas.

When I was starting off...I saw a lot about how to behave and I saw a lot about how not to behave and it taught me many, many lessons. No-one wants someone who behaves badly. I know for sure that before I was cast opposite Sean Connery...he called around everybody and anybody he could find to find out, 'Is she okay? Am I going to want to kill her?' I guess I passed the test on that one...
Marriage is important. I certainly didn't want to get married just because I had a child. My commitment to my husband and baby is important to me legally and also emotionally. To stand up and declare that means a lot to me. It makes me feel secure and strong.
I love being bold, alive, in the moment. Those are the qualities of the strong, brave stars I grew up loving. I love glamour and glitz, going to premieres dressed up and smiling and waving. And the quality of the work I'm being offered? All I keep thinking every day is, 'My God, this is great. Enjoy it while it lasts.' I'm someone who doesn't take things for granted.
I get very emotional. I kiss everybody and tell them I love them. If somebody says something nice to me, they instantly become my friend., Or I get really bloody angry and everyone pisses me off - On Getting Drunk

Triumphant, Catherine Zeta-Jones looks like she's putt Desperate Housewives star Teri Hatcher in her place at a celebrity golf tournament. The pair battled it out on a course in Las Vegas and Cath's smile seemed to indicate she was getting the best of the encounter.
The actresses were among a host of A-listers who turned out for the annual celeb tournament organised by 35-year-old Catherine's husband Michael Douglas.Cash from the event at the posh Cascata course goes to the Motion Picture and Television Fund, which provides for needy industry workers .
Douglas, 60, said: 'The weekend of golf and fun offers us huge poss- ibilities to raise money for the fund.'
Other celebrity golfers included actors Martin Sheen and Mark Wahlberg |

For this movie, Catherine won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress! She sang in the movie herself, as well as in the Academy Movie Awards Ceremony - and she did just great! Her performance was really worth the awards that she won, I would say her talented was even superior to protagonist Renee Zellweger's...

Catherine Zeta-Jones is to pay thousands of dollars to fly her sick cousin to America for treatment.
The star, 35, is so concerned about teacher Kelly Hinder, who has been ill for over a year with a mysterious kidney complaint, she's enlisted first-class doctors to treat her beloved cousin.
Hinder, 29, says, "I don't know what's wrong and they are going to have a thorough investigation.
"I've been having lots of kidney pain and I'm looking forward to getting it sorted out."
A source adds, "It's a very kind gesture from Catherine and she doesn't want to make a big deal about it.
"Family's very important to her." |

This movie unites the two things I like the most in a movie: Action and Catherine Zeta-Jones. She was amazing as a sofisticated thief. Sharing the scenes with Sean Connery, her charm and sensuality is the weapon she used to accomplish her misson on the movie. Who wouldn't like to be seduced by this woman, even if she was to deceive you???

Catherine Zeta Jones was born on September 25, 1969, in Swansea, West Glamorgan, Wales, UK to father Dai Jones, who formerly worked for a candy factory, and mother Pat Jones. Catherine also has two brothers named David Jones, a development executive born in 1967, and Lyndon Jones, who works at Catherine's production company; born in 1972. Catherine showed an interest early on in entertainment. She sang and danced her way to local stardom before she was ten years-old, as a part of a Catholic congregation's performing troupe. She later starred on stage in 'Annie', 'Bugsy Malone', and 'The Pajama Game'. At 15, Catherine had the lead in the British revival of 42nd Street. She was originally cast as the second understudy for the lead role in the musical but when the star and first understudy became sick the night the play's producer was in the audience, she was given the lead for the rest of the musical's production. She first made a name for herself in the early '90s when she starred in the Yorkshire Television comedy/drama series "The Darling Buds of May" (1991). The show was a smash hit and made Jones one of the United Kingdom's most popular television actresses. Catherine subsequently played supporting roles in several films, including Christopher Columbus: The Discovery (1992), the miniseries Katharina die Große (1995) (TV) and a larger part as the seductive Sala in The Phantom (1996) before landing her breakthrough role playing the fiery Elena opposite Anthony Hopkins and Antonio Banderas in The Mask of Zorro (1998). She next starred in many big budget blockbusters like Entrapment (1999), The Haunting (1999) and Traffic (2000), for which many believed Catherine was robbed of an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actress. In November 2000, Catherine married actor Michael Douglas. She gave birth to their son, Dylan Michael, in August 2000.

Not only a beautiful woman, Catherine is also very talented and has a beautiful voice. I say this because she was also in an animation movie: Simbad: Legend of the Seven Seas (2003), in which she played Marina, Proteus' girlfriend. I'm not a great fan of animation movies, but just to hear her voice was worth it...

Although Catherine became famous in the early 90's in UK, it was in Mask of Zorro (1998) that I first saw her and she reached Hollywood! She was spetacular in this movie - I was hipnotized by her brown eyes, long black hair and smoth features.
