When I discuss my travel to Portugal with my American friends, I am amazed that so many of them know so little about Portugal. So I will try to provide a little information about the country and it's people.

In the early spring of 1994, we were thinking about planning a trip to Europe. My wife wasn't too interested in going to London or Paris. I suggested "How about Portugal?". Much to my amazement the suggestion was accepted.

This Blog is going to be about this amazing trip, which I'll never forget.

I am still impressed by something because I feel that someday, I'll return.
